About Hughesys Painting, Newcastle NSW
Licensed painter-decorator Jye Hughes, based in Edgeworth and servicing Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and the Hunter Region.
Painting by Jye Hughes
I'm Jye Hughes, a licensed painter-decorator (NSW Lic. 476719C) based in Edgeworth and working across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and the Hunter Region. Every job starts with a site visit and a written scope so you know which surfaces, preparation and products are included.
Every job comes with a written quote before any work starts. The prep is not rushed. The cleanup happens before we leave. And the quote you approved is the price you pay.
Hughesys takes on interior repaints, exterior repaints, commercial work, strata painting, and roof painting across Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. If it needs a licensed painter, we can quote it.
What You Get When You Book
Jye Leads the Standard
When you call 0466 880 561, you speak directly with me. I handle the quote, preparation and painting, so you know who is responsible for the work.
Written Quote Before a Drop Sheet Goes Down
You see the full price in writing, broken down by room or surface, before any work starts. No surprises once we are on site. Scope changes need your approval first.
5.0 Stars on Every Google Review
Every Google review Hughesys has received is five stars. Customers specifically mention the preparation work and attention to detail.
Prep Is Not an Optional Extra
Every exterior job gets sanding, filling, and priming. Every interior job gets drop sheets, masking, and wall repair. The finish is only as good as the prep.
